Public Relations Officer

Role Overview – First Response Healthcare is hiring a Public Relations Officer for a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position is ideal for experienced communications professionals with strong public relations expertise, healthcare sector knowledge, and the ability to manage media relations, develop PR strategies, coordinate communications, and enhance organizational reputation within a healthcare services environment. Media Relations and Press Communications – You will manage media relations and press communications by building relationships with local media, healthcare journalists, and press contacts in Abu Dhabi and UAE, preparing press releases and media statements about healthcare services, community initiatives, and organizational achievements, coordinating media interviews with healthcare leadership, managing press inquiries and requests, pitching healthcare stories and features, arranging media visits and coverage, and maintaining positive, productive media relationships. Strategic PR Planning and Communications Strategy – You will develop strategic PR plans by defining communications objectives aligned with organizational goals, creating annual PR calendars and campaigns, planning communications for service launches, community health initiatives, and healthcare programs, developing messaging frameworks and key messages, implementing integrated PR strategies, coordinating crisis communication preparedness, and ensuring consistent, strategic communication supporting organizational reputation. Content Creation and Copywriting – You will create content and write copy by developing press releases, media advisories, and statements, writing healthcare articles and thought leadership pieces, creating newsletter content and communications materials, drafting social media copy and captions, preparing speeches and talking points for leadership, producing annual reports and publications, and ensuring high-quality, engaging written communications that reflect healthcare professionalism.
